Hi My name is Andy Chance, Owner /Builder of Chance Building Group inc. I have been living in St.Augustine for over 22 years. As a third generation builder I was able to watch the trade of fine building be passed down from my grandfather to my father and then to myself and my two brothers Ronnie & Donald. I watched as technologies changed from drilling holes with manual drills of my grandfathers cabinet and building shop to the electronics controlling all the features of your home and pool.
I new at an early age that I wanted to build something great and creative so while in high school I started a tile and marble company (Chance Tile & Marble) installing natural stone and tile. I soon realized that working on my hands and knees was not the future that I wanted. I then passed my building and general contractors licenses and started rebuilding condos. I was asked by several communities to rebuild there commercial pools which led me to getting my commercial and residential pool licenses.
Over the years we have completed many commercial and residential buildings and pools, some you may have seen or driven right by in town (SUMMER HOUSE CONDOS 2004 Hurricane disaster 36 units, Ripley's Believe it or Not corporate offices in the st Augustine location, Sea haven Condos Fire damage 12 units, multiple Historic homes in Linconville, World Golf Village Hall of Fame World Granite Fountain, Sawgrass Players Association Players Pool and South Nine Pool, just to name a few.
In 2006 I bought out a paver company and started doing our on in house paving on all of our projects so that we can start your project from start to finish without hiring a bunch of subcontractors. This in turn gives us the quality control we want and the low cost for you. We are now one of the Premier Builders in Northeast Florida.
